I have one more question. My company is bought by another company. The transaction is done this week. If I change job now, can the new company cancel my green card?
Any feedback is appreciated.

employment verification letter or
photos or
pay stubs or
financial info of company or
birth certificate or any other details

To answer your question, I think once some one gets a Green Card company cannot cancel it. But they can report to INS saying that the employe never inteded to work in GC job and just quit immediately after getting GC. This could trigger INS enquiry and as a result INS may revoke GC saying it is fraud from employee part! So people say it is better to work in GC job for minimum 6 months after getting GC.

I read somewhere that INS occasionally calls the company to make sure that the employee is still working AFTER the GC approval and BEFORE issuing the plastic card.
Is it true or is it one of those urban legends which keep floating around?
