Mine is NOT a concurrently filed case.

Yesterday, Apr-23-2004, GCs for my wife and myself were approved :D. I thought we were the worst effected and mentally prepared for 1 more year of waiting as we are in the end of the "JAN-02 to SEP-02" group.

Not sure if this is any coincidence or not, Apr-24th is my birthday!

I am a longtime visitor/reader of this portal and this is my first post in this forum. I would like to thank Rajeev S Khanna for providing this wonderful forum, PCGCEE, Sillyman, Kashmir, I40_takes_forever and all others who contribute a lot to this forum. Without you guys this waiting could have been a real hell.

Hang in there guys, the approvals are just round the corner!

Mine is also WAC022755xxxx. 1 FP expired, 2nd EAd/2nd AP approved. Awaiting 2nd FP.

The RFE was for standard stuff like EVL, W2s, Tax returns, company's ability to pay, pay stubs.

I went ahead of the schedule for finger printing. Went to San Jose instead of the scheduled OakLand. Somehow I wanted my fingerprinting check to be finished before they receive the RFE response.

GCMAN_2001 & Others,

Can one get RFE before 2nd FP when the First FP has expired ?

It looks like GCMAN_2001 received the 2nd FP after the RFE. Isn't that unusual?

cagcwaiter, 2nd FP for me was generated about 3 days before RFE was generated. Case was approved 04/23. I have posted the details in a another thread. I think pretty soon we will see a lot of approvals.

Seems to be pretty common these days to get second fp after RFE.

Let us hope you are right, but going by INS's bad record so far, I wouldn't trust them till I see the approval remaining consistent over a period of time.
