I was surprised to see the case status change. Is it sure that my case will be interviewed.

How long will take to set up an interview in SF office. I am 245 (i) case. Please let me know how to prepare for the interview.
Any response is greatly appreciated.

On June 22, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in SAN FRANCISCO, CA for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. Our office in SAN FRANCISCO, CA will notify you when they schedule your interview or take other action on your case. If you need further information, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.
 
Yes I did my 2nd FP on 6/5/04

I am really worried about the interview. I am not sure, how long it takes and I don't know what to expect. I am one of those 245 i case

Processing date for interview

Thanks for replying. The date shows as Nov 30, 2003. My receipt date is July -02. How do you determine it will take 6 months.

ANy calculation involved?

I dont know this but my guess is that your 485 receipt date does not determine your interview date. I THINK the local office processing date means - they are processing cases that got tranferred to thier office around Nov30th,2003. Normally SFO office is moving the processing dates by a month. Thats how I guessed. I could be wrong.

I did not receive any RFE. For all the Interview cases there will not be any RFE. Because they want you to bring all the Original to the interview to see if you are a genuine case.
