Hi friends,

My wife and I were finally approved today.

I called the USCIS yesterday. I don't know if my phone call and the approval are correlated. But my colleagues case was also approved the day after his lawyer faxed an inquiry. So that makes two of us.

For all you guys whose RD is much earlier than the current processing date, I think it is worth giving the National Customer Service Center a call. The number is 1 (800) 375-5283.

This forum has been our source of encouragement for the last two and a half years.

Congratulations! I think its just a coincidence. I donot think USCIS works on a case immly (within a day, I mean) after a call /enquiry.
