BTW, About a week ago I contacted Sen. Feinstein office Using the form on her website) because I was getting close to 90 days after RFE rcvd, but I have no evidence that the approval was related to that.
I'll post details about the stamping experience once I get to that. Very best.

Got passport stamped last Thursday
Arrived at San Jose (on Monterey Rd) office at ~9:30am. Just a couple of people ahead of me on the “Appointment” line. Walk out with passports (me and my wife) by around 10:30! Went for a nice lunch to celebrate ;-)
