WAC 02-050 RFE received paystubbs, EL, W2

My attorney receicved RFE today for Employment letter saying I am employed 40 hours / week on permanent basis, W2 for 2001 and paystubbs for the past 6 months.

485 RD = 11/26

FP = 04/09 San Jose

RFE = 08/08 AVM Changed

RFE received by attorney = 08/15
 
Did you not submit Emp letter previously ?

Most of time the employment letter is sent with the 485 application itself ..

Also did you change jobs , have a very old PD ? any reason why INS wants proof that you have been working fulltime ?
 
six months of pay stubs..kinda wired ... what was this officer thinking . May be jelous cause u might be making much more had a fight with wife or GF in the morning.
 
This is a new one. May be the officer is suspecting that you are out of work.
There is a form that you have to sent about the last year for which you filed taxes. So he wants to add that up. As it is easy to produce paystubs and employement letter but difficult to come up with a W2.

But the last 2 months paystubs would suffice which is roughly four or so is more like it.
What the heck just ask the HR and send them in.

But you haven't changed jobs or anything in the last 6 months.

Never changed jobs, same company applied GC, but they laid off lot of guys, I guess this is the reason why they want to check if I am employed or not.

They want earnings statement fo the past 6 months to corroborate the employment letter
