Finally I heard the magic words "Case approved on
July 31". I checked AVM on Aug 1.

PD 11/99
RD 7/30/01
ND 9/10/01
AD 07/31/02

However my wife's case is still not approved and
is pending. Should I call up and find. Anyone
who had this issue ?

Somebody had the same situation on this board as you do,
but he and his wife got approval notice together. Sometimes
AVM don't update very fast. Wait for your approval notice.

I hope that my wife's case is also approved
( avm not updated ) and that we get approvals in the mail together..

I had last called the IIO 3-4 weeks back. Till then the case was not assigned. After that I decided not to call IIO , check AVM for sometime ( to avoid frustration ).. Then called on Aug 1 based on a few wac-01-2**** approvals I saw yesterday and also on a strong "gut" feeling.

BTW, I agree with someone else who mentioned that calling IIO is not going to delay the processing.
