I agree with you Dee Rod, I don\'t like too the Udupi on Artesia. My other complaint is that at the price they charge they should serve in crockery and silverware not in styrofoam and plastics. I haven\'t checked out Madras Tiffin, have to check out on of these days. I had been to older DasPrakash, there also used to be a DasPrakash on Santa Monica Blvd but alas no more.
Well the sambar at Woodlands, it\'s the real Udupi style sambar. Udupi or for that any other place in Karnataka usually have thinner sambar with not so soft/mushy vegetables as in Madras sambar. But real Udupi sambar has distinct aroma and flavor than the Madras sambar.
