Folks,
   I broke in to tears when I heard the magic words today morning at 5.30 am. My case details:

RD: 12/4/00
ND: 12/18/00
EAD/AP: Approved in Feb/Mar 2001
FP: Notice received on 2/19/01. Done on 4/5/01 (AS scheduled)
I-485 Approved: 6/12/01
Mine was a Consular-to-AOS converted case and my I-140 was approved on Sep 00 and sent to consulate in Dec 00 and I filed I-485 in Dec 00 and it appears there was not a substantial delay as I originally thought!

My wife has identical dates and she has been approved too.
Thanks to everyone who supports this group by providing info and to Ciba who maintains the tracking list and offers expert advise.

Hi Kum A,
        Congratulations!!!. I need one moere information. You have written that your case is from CP-to-AOS. Did you/your attorney receive Packet 3 from NVC. Do you know where was your file at the time you filed AOS. Was it in NVC or Consulate.
        I am in the same situation & any input is really appreciated. Thanks in advance

Rekharajan,
  My attorney received the packet3 in abt 2 weeks after filing the I-485 and am sure it should have reached the consulate around the same time. However, my lawyer did send a courtesy letter to Consular office abroad with my I-485 receipt to convey that we are adjusting here.
