W-9 from BCIS

My company has never written a check to BCIS, the accounting department is asking me for a W-9 form from BCIS.

Have any of you tried to get a W-9 form from BCIS? Can you help me? Is there a tel# to call?

w-9 what for? dont the account dept know how to write to BCIS? Why you have to be the one responsible to get the w-9? Dont be pressurized into accepting the impossible just because you are in H1...
 
The accounting lady said they want to report to IRS the check that they are going to write to BCIS, thus they need a W9 so they can get BCIS into the accounting system.

I am not too familiar with the accounting and tax practices, I am not sure what should I tell her. I searched the [whole] Internet, nobody seems to have experienced this problem before.

I did call BCIS at 1-800-357-2099, nobody seems to know what a W-9 is!
 
Ask the accounting lady whether she gets w-9 from a state agency or a federal agency? What did they do when they registered their company? Tell her BCIS is a federal agency which does not give out w-9s, else give her the commisioner's email id and ask her to write a letter.
 
The accouting department finally cut the check.

Now I am just going to wait for premium processing!
