W-2s for all H1B and L1 employess

Hi,

I just got back from a interview at mumbai consulate for revalidating my H1b and they asked me to produce W2 for all H1b and L1 empoyees.

Is this normal. Can anyone with past experience share it..

------ it has been asked in past to many, you can search the past threads ( I read in few posts that a lady officer who got transfred to Bombay from Chennai consulate is creating more problems for H1 and H4 Visa stamps )
