Finally. Approved. Received letter during the July 4th. week. Passport also stamped. MY ND Sep 1999. No RFE. Company name change case. Was on HOLD for AC21 memo/guidance for 4 months. Called countless people, talked with IIO once every 20 - 30 days. Glad its over. I am hoping that all the company name change folks will soon get their approvals.

Congrats vsc_on_hold. I am glad to see your posting. Did you get any RFE before or after the hold? My case was on hold. No RFE. waiting to hear from INS. Any info you provide will be great help to all of us.
Thanks

My amended I140 was approved 18-May. I had actually talked with an IIO in the 1st week of May. She took my EAC# and placed it in my file. My case had been under review since then. Lately I was afraid that I might receive an RFE or a transfer after reading these postings. But when I talked with an IIO in the 3rd. week of June I was told to expect a decision within a few days. That was the first confirmation I had that I was very close to approval. Fortunately towards the end, I did manage to talk with real cool IIOs ( eventhough I was making a call once every week ). I guess when your case is really being worked on they dont mind you calling in more often.

Thanks guys. All of you have been a source of important information and moral support. During the hold especailly many of us rallied behind the cause and contacted all of our senators and congressmen and of course the INS HQ to get the AC21 memo out. Had it not been for the persistence of the users of this board, many company name change cases might still be in limbo. IGaters have been great. Personally, IGate Legal has been very resposive to my queries.

I took several documents with me for my stamping. But all that they asked me was for my EAD, Passport, I94 and the approval letters. They did not ask for my AP. MY stamping was at Arlington, DC/VA. Total time 4 hours. My stamping was completed 2 hours after taking the token. No questions asked. I had no problem with parking either. I even had my child\'s passport stamped.
