VSC->TSC : 485 Approved on June 27th, No emails after that

Hi,

Wondering if anybody else is in the same boat as I am. I got 485 approval email on June 27th and got the snail mail on July 3rd, with LUD on 06/30, no message change. No card ordered or card mailed emails so far, anybody else in the same boat ? Wondering what to do next. Waited for the approval for 4.5 yrs not sure how much longer to wait for the damn card.

PD - Jan 2003.
I-140,485 RD - Last week of October 2003.
I-140 AD - March 2004.
FP1 - September 2004.
Applied for EAD and AP 5 times, most recently in April 2007.
FP2 (code 3) - May 2007 but went for FP in June 2nd week due to a cut on the finger.
VSC->TSC March 2nd 2007 ( got email and snail mail)
LUD - 20th June, Notice sent email (change of address confirmation )
LUD - 26th June, case transfered to Texas ( probably retriggered due to FP activity)
LUD - 27th June : I-485 approved
LUD - 30th June : no msg change, just LUD change
July 3rd : Snail Mail of I485 approvals.
Actual GC : :confused:

This waiting games never ends, does it? All I'm waiting for now is an approval email, but I know once I get the approval email that would lead me to wait for the card and then that puts me on a waiting path to citizenship... Sheesh, they made sure to have system in place to annoy us all the way starting with a long line infront of US embassy.

You could take your approval notice to your local USCIS center and have your passports stamped.
 
Same case here. In my case my spouse is still waiting for I-485 approval.

same here

received email that 485 was approved on June 28th. Nothing after that. Haven't received the approval notice also.

PD: some time in 2001...lol
 
Same issue

Three LUD's after approval notice.
Approval on 6/28.
LUD on 6/29. Approval notice mailed on 6/29.
LUD on 7/05. Approval Notice mailed on 6/29.
I haven't recieved my approval notice yet in the mail. Not sure what they want us to do after we get our notices. I hope we don't have any more steps to take.
 
Looks like if you miss your FP notice on the scheduled date . They want you to re-appear for the FP code2 again.
I am in the same boat I missed my FP notice scheduled date and got it done after a week.
I recieved the approval notice and after 3 weeks I recieved another FP code2 notice.
I will go to FP code2 next week and I will let you know the status.
 
As I was expecting I got my FP CODE3 notice yesterday(07/06).
So I am guessing my card will be ordered once I complete my FP Code3.

I missed my FP on the scheduled date also, I was scheduled for 05/02 but I couldn't appear for FP until second week of June.

Kinku what is your Approval date ( email and snail mail ), Were there any LUDS between your Approval date and before your got the FP code 2 notice. Also, when they mailed you the FP code 2 notice, was there a change of messege online ? and what did it say ?

Did anybody tried calling USCIS as why the card was not received? If so, what was the response given by USCIS?

Same here, or even worse :(

Got the approval email on July 2nd, but nothing after that. I haven't even seen the real approval notice in postal-mail yet, not to say the Card. However, need to travel abroad in 2 weeks... really worried.. Details below:

EB2 NIW, PD: middle of 2003
VSC -> TSC : March, 2007
2nd FP (code 3): May 2007
Msg update (to an old msg): June 29, 2007
Approval notice sent email: July 2, 2007
LUD (msg didn't change): July 5, 2007
PP Stemped at local office: July 6, 2007
 
I received approval notice on 6th July. It was just one page notice saying my I485 is approved and they will check if I need to do finger print and asked me to take no action until I hear from them again. My finger print is done last month so I don't understand why the card production is not ordered yet. My wife's application is pending.
 
I got "Approval notice sent" (and the actual notice) on June 26th.
PD Sept 2001.
VSC->TSC March 3.
FP Code 3: May 18.
LUDS:
May 19: After FP.
June 26, 27, 30. (after "approval notice sent").
On June 26, status changed from "transferred" to "Pending" before changing to "approval notice sent".
No card ordered or such yet.
Actual notice says to wait 90 days, OR for biometrics! I just had biometrics on 5/18. Wonder if Code2 is coming my way or what.

Received paper approval notice in mail yesterday (July 09).

Still no email on 'card ordered' etc. yet... but I don't have much hope in getting the card before I go on for the trip. But since I got my passport stamped, I think I should be able to come back to US... Please warn me if you've seen/heard otherwise...

BTW, I found my status (all the updates and messages) are almost exactly the same as linux1112000. My wife's case is also pending. Glad to see someone is in the same boat ;)

We are in the same boat. Got approved for self and spouse on 6/26/07. I goit Card Production and Card Sent e-mails but nothing for my wife. We also got the approval notices as well as my green Card. We called USCIS this morning and were told that they do not have my wifes picture in their database which is wrong since her EAD was issued a few days back. Also they said that she missed her biometrics on the 19th. We went for biometrics on the 19th and have a stamped notice to prove it. Not sure what is going on. At least I am glad that we are not the only ones. This is so frustrating since finally after such a long time we got out of this mess but there is still more mess to deal with. When will this be over.

Arrow007 You recieved your wife's approval email and notice but not the card ordered email or the physical card, correct. Just wanted to make sure. In my case, I gave my FP about a month later than what they had printed on the FP notice. Any LUD's on her profile in USCIS site ?

You are right, we have received e-mail that the application is approved as well as the standard approval notice, but nothing after that. No updates on USCIS website or anything. We completed the fingerprints etc on time, so not sure what is the problem there.

In my case I did get a "card production ordered" email in early June (twice, within hours of each other), but no card and no approval or any other emails since then. Yesterday, I got another (3rd) FP notice. My last FP was in Feb 2006, and the first one was in Aug 2004.

Anyone in the same situation? Will the 07/02 cut-off in visa numbers apply to my case too? After all the frustration and waiting, it will be just awful if the bad timing of my FP expiration makes my case wait until the next round of availability.

Also, my wife's FPs are current, but even she did not get her card after the same "Card Production Ordered" emails (received the same day as mine). Does her (derivative) case need to wait until my FP and i485 approval? It has been over 30 days since her "card production ordered" emails as well.

Would really appreciate any inputs.

Call USCIS and make sure that they have correct address on file. Also raise a Service Request to find out the status of Card.

I completed my FP (CODE3) at around 8:15 AM on 07/11 and my online LUD changed at around 9:30 AM and the message changed to
'This case has been transferred to another office'. Which is little confusing.

Any way I will wait another 2 months as stated in the approval notice then call USCIS if I don't receive the card.

And there is no update on my spouse's I-485. Still waiting.

Good luck, Pacha_card. Do you think the 07/02 cut off in visa numbers will apply to you and me?

I am also confused about the order of the online status updates- isn't "card production ordered" supposed to be before "i-485 approved", or is that vice versa? You seem to have gotten the latter, but not the former, and it is the opposite in my case.
