Just spoke to IIO for change of address. When I asked for my app status, She said the processing time for appl is 19 months!!! Looks like they will keep stretching the time as backlogs mount..

or do you need to send in writing? what did IIO say

I talked to the IIO and was also told the processing time is 19 months. And you should not count the days between your FP notice and BCIS actually received the FP results, which means that if today is 19 month away from your RD, but you waited one month to finish the finger print, your actual time in the BCIS eyes is only 18 months. Then you still have to wait another month before you can make a useless inquiry.

The people we get from the 800 numbers are not IIOs, aren't they?

You need to call National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283 to change address for all PENDING APPLICATION. Also, you need to send AR-11 to BCIS.

Are you sure that one has to do BOTH to get his address up to date in their files?

When I was changing my address, I only sent in the form, and did not have any problem ...

Send an AR11 form and a lette to your service center
where the case is pending. Green card holders need only
to send in the AR11 form.
