VSC Processing Rate- An Observation & a possible Forecast.

Things are rock\'n\'rolling at VSC, i guess so, it seems so as per latest approvals.

Once all June-July cases are approved, then it should become very fast, kinda 2(or more) months cases in 1 month, coz if you see no of cases applied in June-July is around 250+ as per immitracker (When all EB2/EB3 PDs got current and all people who were waiting for so long, got current and applied I485)
And then afterwards for Aug-Sep-Oct-Nov-Dec(01)-Jan-Feb-Mar(02) it is some 50+ applications per month, so effectively it might process/approve 2 or 3 months cases in a month\'s time after June. Although it is a rough estimate, not the actual one.

So positively, lets assume the following scenario as below:

1. If all pending June-July & August RD cases should be processed/approved by end of May 02.
2. Then they could process Oct-Nov RD cases in June
3. and Dec-Jan RD cases in July
4. and Feb-Mar by August.

Maybe by Sept 02, things will really be very fast, as intended by INS.
This would make it very close to 6months target set by INS.

Just an observation and a possible forecast.

Whatcha say, anybody with any further ideas, clues on this, this was just
a positive outlook from an over-optimistic person(people would say).

June 01 & 75 % of (July 01 & Aug 01) : By June 15th

25 %(RFEs) of (July 01 & Aug01),75 % of Sept 01 & Oct 01 : By July 15th

25 % (RFEs) of (Sept 01 & Oct 01 ) , 75 % of Nov 01 : By Aug 15th

25 % (RFEs) of Nov01, 100 % of Dec01 : By Oct 1st

Then PD might retrogress and God Knows.

I can just imagine an INS employee reading this and laughing his head off. Just a week ago, the board was full with depression and how all processing will be late by 1-3 months because of new security checks.
 
forecast now, INS stock trading next?

Maybe INS should offer shares in NYSE.
Earnings would be = approved cases.
By the way, stupid question but, what does PD stand for?
Is it I-140 Petition Date or ..?
 
Aug01 RD approvals start flowing......................

So we are seeing quite some August01 RD Cases approved, i think by end of May02, remaining July01 and most of Aug01 RDs will get their approvals, which is good.
So Aug RDs can celebrate Memorial day in fultoo ishtyle & Sept01-Oct01 RDs better plan for Independence Day, coz then u can expect urs and Nov-Dec RDs can Celebrate Labor day, while Jan-Feb will have to wait for Columbus day.

Just in case, as per worst case, for sure, all of us will be free birds by Christmas, if not Thanxgiving.

Wish we all get our dream by christmas. VSC receive my application on april 29 and my check cashed at May 7 th. Usullay they cashed check during ND. So I am expecting the receipt by the weekend. It looks like they are working very first.
 
Good Analysis; You should work for INS

Friends, I think we need people like Just$$ at INS and I know you will all agree with me.
Just$$ send your resume to INS and when you join them just make sure that u get my application proccessed quickly because it seems INS has either forgotten or liked my application a lot(and they are continously reading and reading it), as I have not heard the good news as yet.

It feels nice to read and share thoughts with each other and it feels as if we are all almost there(whether we are almost there or not that is something only time will tell)...

May be INS Should listed on Nasdaq

INS performs once in a while for a Week and slows down to trickle,
the latest trick in its armour seems to be transfering cases to local offices for interview to move to the next months cases .

INS like the Public Traded company listed on the Stock market should be asked to publish results every quarter (Number of cases Processing complete , Cost savings , Efficency , backlog reduction ....) and then also Customer Satisfication like every Fortune 1000 company does see things and things will improve dramatically !!!
 
Your "analisys" is complete BS

If anything, VCS officers will slow down the process for the rest of the year to secure their jobs given the prospect of cuts in light of significant underload next year.
 
VSC will not slow down, but only speed up from here

INS people are against the recent bill of breaking it up into two bodies. So, INS will try and do everything to speed up adjudication of the cases. Speeding up will keep them their jobs, not slowing down.

Based on the existing reorganization bills in the House and Senate, INS employees will keep their job no matter what happens. There was a amendament to change INS employee status to "at will" employees but the amendament was defeated. So job security is not a issue here. Just my 2 cents
