VSC processing I-485s or I-140

Looks like the VSC is currently processing more of I-140s as there are a lot of new I-140 approvals. The I-140 processing time has also improved significantly. I think they may have shifted their priority to I-140 at this time and may come back to I-485 later this month.
Just my 2c opinion.

Interesting observation! This might especially be true since a while back VSC had stopped working on I-140 (as per AILA) and focused their attention on H-1Bs.

With the economic slow down, I expect that H-1B workload would have reduced considerable and VSC might be clearing I-140 backlog before going back to I-485.

In the menwhile, some officers are issuing FP notices to folks with NDs Oct. \'99 to Mar \'00.
