VSC Processing dates have been updated.

Probably you want to say that VSC processing dates they have NOT been updated for more than a month !!! Just checking !!;)

I got that info from the same link. I also noticed for some strange reason sometimes that site shows that it has been updated on Feb 20, and sometimes it shows the previous January updated information. Delete your internet cookies/history and try again, you may be able to see the latest dates.

I just did that hoping that my status will change to approved. Didn't work :(

These processing dates are a joke. There is no accountability whatsoever - USCIS does not have to explain how they are calculated. There are so many cases that are behind current processing dates - yet VSC can claim their date is May 18, 2006. And even better .. Emilio Gonzalea the director of USCIS says in the fee increase proposal that the fee hike will reduce the processing time for 485s from 6 months to 4 months. Now .. we all know that the 6 month claim is a joke - but no one asks him to explain how they claim that the current processing time for 485s is 6 months.

well...
You are not right here.
I am frustrated to, but I've looked at the statistics.
There was 360 I-485 applications filed on the same date as mine.
Most of the approvals was when the processing date was due, (81 cases approved in one month), and then it slowly trickles by 1-2 cases a month.
In 2006 there was 22 approvals for the whole year.
Now it is 186 cases approved, 58 cases transferred.
An my case is still in limbo
