Boston stamping experience

I was at INS at 7am, long line in cold outside. It is room # 160 and not 125 as mentioned in the paper. I took my courtesy copy and pictures and passport. Took me three hours. No original approval copy required. They also took my EAD card and I-94s.
 
Card ordered for me but not for my wife.. anbody has similar experience

For my wife same old message .. case approved blah blah..

Anybody faced similar situation before.

I have similar problem. Card ordered from my wife only and not for me. We did our passport stamp on the same day.

I-551- TWO signature, two finger-print or one each

Kind of confused, at the Arlington INS office during passport stamping I was asked for one index finger-print and one signature. But my wife says she was asked to give 2 finger-prints and had to sign at 2 places.
Is either of us wrong or can\'t remember? or is it standard for the primary approved person to give one FP and sign?

any information would help in elevating the confusion.

You don\'t have to do anything for the ordering. It\'s INS job , they will make a card (green card) with your photo and fingerprint and send it to you.
 
Where did you do your stamping?

I did my stamping on 2/19 in Chicago and AVM message still same....
 
Same case for us too - card ordered for me but not for spouse

we both stamped pp at Newark on 1/30/02, however, on 3/22/02 card ordered for me but for spouse AVM still says case approved.
