VSC Plastic card -- Spoke to IIO -- PP stamped on 4/18/01

I spoke to IIO@VSC just now.
   He told me that they have received the necessary paperwork from Newark
   and I should be getting my card in mail within the next 30 days!

   However, they have not received my spouse\'s paper work as of now.
   Spouse PP got stamped on 5/9/01.

   There is a frontlog in the mail room of VSC (about 200,000 mails unopened!).
   They are opening mails of mid April now. So, I think we should not get worried
   if VSC did not receive the information from the ASC.

   I also got my address changed through the phone as I have moved after
   passport stamping.

Thanks for the info. It\'s good to know and also good to know that you can change address change over the phone. Is the ph# same as the VSC number.
