My friend spoke to IIO at 10.30 A.M (Sept 11) EST to change his address.

VSC is open
First, let me say that there was no need for senseless loss like yesterday. My prayers and thoughts are with all those who lost lives and loved ones.
I would also like to let everyone on here know that I spoke to IIO at 3pm. In her words, VSC is open and it is business as usual - processing should not be affected by recent events. This comes directly from a kind lady at VSC. VSC and INS policy is that "it is business as usual".
I know many have expressed concern that people don\'t care abt lives - they just care for I-485 processing. I personally don\'t believe that people are that heartless. However, I agree with spirit of what we need to do. We need to carry on business as usual and show that we are stronger than the terrorists.
Lastly, if anyone has smart comment to my post, I will tell them in advance that I am not lowering myself to their level by responding and engaging them in discussion.
