VSC is working on JAN cases. My case got approved

No Title

Friends, AVS says it got approved in April 2000, what does it mean, I have receved Employment Card in April 2000, and it has the followng EAC#000825xxxx number and A#xxxxxxx also. the other details are as follows

EB3, India
PD 7/97
ND/RD Jan/2000
EAD got in April 2000.
FP notice Feb 2001 and got it done Mar 2001

If you remember, for a short while in Nov 1999, EB3 catagorey was current, I filed my I-485, and I got my EAD card, I dont know what to do after that so I kept quiet waiting to get my GC, I got a notice of FP in Feb and got my FP done in March 16,2001 and FBI sent the info back to INS same day, I can\'t believe, yesterday I called AVS and The message I heard is that your case is approved in April 2000, I am in confusing state, what is this, I am not able to understand, and AVS says that we have recieved a documents on May 2000 for my husband and his case will take 30~60 days, its almost 365 days more, what does I-485 approval means is EAC#000825xxxx approval? or what? what should I do.....
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated..

Who is the primary beneficiary and derivative beneficiary
The applications are processed separatley if you guys filed
separately. There is no link between the applications.
If Both of you filed on same date, It is only some time delay
while updating the AVS or some other delay...But when AVS
says YOur case got approved. It is approved. You will get a notice
in a shorter period
