VSC I485 Fiscal Yr 2002 - Progress Reports

Weekly scan results 113 & 114 - 08/16/03

I'm only posting because storage space is so cheap these days...
The count status is inside the spreadsheet, I skipped one day due to the power outage. Don't expect anything major though.

I wonder if power outage had any impact on processing for this week or it is a reflection of changed priorities. The total number of cases touched has declined from approx 700 to around 467.

Not a good week

hi sbctsublc

Thanks for doing this.Yes it not a good weak.Already people in this forum are worried much it is just adding the worries and delaies.Hope for good atleast on this week.

Well guys - we saw a lot of backlog cases being touched on the forums. Since we are only tracking Jan-April here, they may have been clearing the backlog before their annual audit, and we just don't see it in these results.

Also, we've only seen 700 cases being touched in the last 2 weeks - before that it was around 500 cases. In that case, 467 doesn't seem so bad.

sbctsublc,

Thank you very much!

111 & 112 series - no changes since last scan....

Same "progress" in 113 & 114

djc,

Lets hope they're indeed processing those backlog cases. It's totally unfair some August thru December ppl are still waiting for the damn thing...

This is how processing seems to run at VSC. The graph was created using data samples from other databases over 6 months, for cases with RD OCT01 - FEB02, but the pattern is obvious. I should mention that I used 14-day moving average for the graph.

An obvious explanation is - the approvals catch up at the end of every month to meet the quota or whatever. Thats why every 4 weeks the approvals peak.

The peaks are not at the end of the month... The last one was around Aug 05...08. These peaks seem to be somewhere during the first 10 days of each month.

I can not see the X or Y Axis values, just plain graph . Is it the version of Java installed here or the actual graph does not have marked axes. Please let me know.

Neither java in that jpg file, nor axes on the graph:D It was not designed to be an exact graph (as I said, it was created using samples-not full data from other databases) so the axes are not relevant. It was the pattern that seemed interesting to me. However it contains about 170 days of observation as of yesterday, so you can place the exact X axis values if you feel like.

Now... today's scan results:
113: 2 approvals, 2 transfers; done=42 of 226
114: 3 transfers; done=75 of 346
(done = approved + transferred)
