VSC - I 485 - Message heard on AVM

Gurus,

I called the VSC and got AVM. I entered eac # for I 485. It was filed in
Feb 2001. The message heard was "this case can\'t be found at this time"
or something like that. I am a bit worried. Can someone please advise.

Come on man.. other wise how will he have the EAC #.

From whatever I can recollect from the discussions here, it sometimes happens. May be their system has some problems. If you have heard earlier about your case on AVM then do not worry.

Cool man, it does happens sometimes when they are updating AVM.

Don\'t worry you have long way to go with VSC.This is just starting.

I had the same message too. Do not worry. You should have got your FP by now though right? That means the case is moving ...

Hi,

I have also filed my 485 in Feb 2001. I have also completed my fingerprinting on May 2001 and still I am getting the same message. But according to me, there is a problem in AVM system so nothing to worry about.

I think the whole INS VSC is on an extended vacation. They also use Sprint PCS for the AVM, which explains both the delays and the random nature of messages.
