motion question

I just filed MTR for 140 & 485. Just wanted to know, how long does it takes for me/lawyer to receive the new receipt numbers ?

And also how long does it take to process this kind of application ?

MTR Update

Hello

Based on a motion my I140 (concurrent I140/I485 filing) was reopened on Septemebr 23rd 2004. Is this bad news waiting to happen? If not, then does anybody know of any such case? Also should the derivative cases (I765,I131)should atleast be open if I140 is reopened and is now pending?

140 Approved

With God's grace and UnitedNations help my 140 got approved yesterday. I saw approval email today morning.
My status changed yesterday for opening of the case.

Congrats man.
1. Did the LUD change on I290B application also.
2. Also did you status change on 140 first to "opened on a BCIS motion" and then changed to approved?
3. Did status / LUD change on 485 for your self?
4. Did status / LUD change on 485 for dependents?

Mine is I290 A
yes status changed yesterday for all app. including 485 ( including dependents)

My RD is 10/13/04 and still waiting. I don't know what's happening with my case. Mine is 290B

Application Type: I140 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER

Current Status:

On December 13, 2004, this case was reopened on a BCIS motion, and the
case is now in process. It is taking between 90 and 485 days for us to
process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as
processing is complete.

I think this is sign for approval.. is this right.

Yes they must have started working on your case. Keep it watching for next couple of days. If it keeps on changing another two days that would mean some resolution on your case.

Your case should be opened anytime. For 290 B the time frame to start is about 2 months

LUD is changed to today also.

MY I-140 got approved. Just updated at 7.30 PM Eastern time. I-485 is still at same status says reopend on BCIS motion.

That is good. What did you file - I290A or I290B? I am the only one here whose 140 was reopened more then 9 days back and is still pending ... :mad:
