VSC end of sept. no receipt

Hi all
I am too much worried.
I sent the I140/485 on 9/27
it reached on 9/28.

still my checks are not cashed. is there anyone with similar situation>?

I am in a similar situation - my apps for 485/140 were received by VSC on 9/26. No receipts received neither are the cash encashed.

Lawyer says not to worry, as there are too many applications sent out and they may be sending out receipts based on PD- my PD is 08/2005

Thanks for replying. I am checking with my bank everyday whether they cashed my checks or not. But now I am getting worried. Please keep on posted

Did you receive your receipts yet? I havent received mine as of today, so I dont know whats going on at VSC. You know anyone in the same boat?

Still I did not get my receipt number. And I dont know anybody in same boat. I dont know whats happening. Someone suggested that my lawyer should call USCIS. but my lawyer is not so supportive. How about you?

My lawyer did contact USCIS, they are not able to give him any answers on my app. So we'll wait for some more time and decide on future action. I dont know what that action would be though!

Is it your first time application for I-140 or is it a re-file for any previous I-140 denial?

Mine is re-file as my 140 got denied earlier. so was wandering if that's the reason it's taking long or it's in sepearte queue?

Did your attorney suggested anything in this regards? Also, do you know if we could do E-file when we already sent our file earlier thorugh mail for I-140 to get the receipt number right away???
 
I filed my I-140 in september 27th. Do you know what was the filing fees for I-140 at that time? I mean was it $190 or $195????

$190 fee before 10/26/2005
$195 fee on/after 10/26/2005
