VSC: Did anyone (men) get Interview letter recently?

Folks,

Please post here if you (men) received interview letter recently?

I have had my FP on 5th May, and still waiting for my interview letter. My wife had FP with me on 5th May, and she received her interview letter on 30th May (interview on 24th July).

Just trying to see if there are any patterns. Thanks,

Which DO do you belong to? I had my fingerprints on April 4th and still no IV letter...I belong to the DC District office.
 
My DO is NYC.
I got my interview letter on the 15th of June for August 7th 2006.

Time line:
Priority Date : April 27th 2006
FP Date : May 17th 2006 ( FBI check completed the same day)
IL received : June 15th 2006
IV Date : August 7th 2006.

This could be b/c they haven't recieved your security clearnce yet. There is a new memo regarding this issuse that interview is only conducted once USCIS recieves all of the background checks.
 
my wife got her interview and I am still waiting. We had our fingerprints done on the same day. I called and they said mine was waiting for name check. I have come to the conclusion that they do more on the name check for males then females.

I was about to start a same thread like you have done. This is killing me. My DO is Hartford, I have my details there.

My wife and me applied at sametime. Wife received interview letter, I am still waiting. When I called them they told me mine was waiting to be scheduled.


BTW, Did you call USCIS? What was the reason given to you by them?

Like ip_everywhere said, you'll no longer be scheduled for interview if namecheck is still pending because USCIC don't want more opportunity for lawsuits filed due to the "must make decision 120 days after interview" law.

I am a woman.. got my fingerprinting done on 5/13 (VSC, DO - Cherry Hill). Still waiting for interview letter.... When I call the customer service, they just go by the timelines published on the uscis website and just ask to wait. Cherry Hill is a sub-office of Newark.. while Newark is processing applications so fast, Cherry Hill is so slow.. :(
