VSC customer service center calling exprience

Guys,

I called VSC customer serivce center today,let see below,how they answered to my questions

Question) I filed my 140 on Nov'10th'2004.Now VSC processing dates are showing dec'30th.Why my file is still pending?

VSC customer service)We can tell the status to you.Ask your employer to call us

Q2)I gave my FP's and biometrics a month ago.Did my Name check is cleared?

VSC customer service)You have to check with FBI.we don't do name check process.Once we receive the result,we will update the website status

Q2)If you receive my finger prints results,Why can't you updates the website status?.

VSC customer service)we don't know exact cause.But,some times we don't update it.

Guys,why should i call customer service centers,If they don't give proper answers for us.Why is that number and why they are sitting over there to receive calls.

I have called several times in last few years and never received any helpful answer and even inquiry was no help.
I wonder if anyone ever helped by them anyway!

is it VSC cust service or national cust service?
 
What a Coincidence

I asked the VSC customer service exact same questions as you did two days back. I got very funny answers like you received.

Q. I gave my finger prints two weeks back and my case status was never updated. I asked the lady about my finger prints status and did they ever got my finger prints.
Answer. she said they dont have the information on the system and asked me to write a letter to VSC about the status.

Q. I asked about the Name Check status.
Answer. She asked me to write a letter to FBI.

Q. I asked about my 485 case status.
Answer. She gave a very generic reply that it is taking 180- 360 days to process the cases.
