Stamped on Feb 7, 2002 in NYC Manhattan

I got stamped on Feb 7,2002 and waiting for the plastic card. Any idea how long it will take for New York. Also is it OK to travel abroad with the stamp. The immigration officer told me that it is ok to travel

but I heard nothing!?

2nd finger printing notice after 485 approved

My 485 was approved and I stamped my passport on 2/13/02. But now I have received another finger printing notice and at the same time AVM has been changed to "A finger printing notice has been issued on....." from "Your I485 has been approved on....". I don\'t know what to do. Anybody at the same boat,please advice.
 
received our cards on 03/01/02

From VSC, got our passports stamped at philly on 01/28/02.
AVM message changed to ordered cards on 02/22/02 and got our cards on 03/01/02.

AD 1/23 PP stamp 1/30 Card ordered 2/26 Card mailed 2/28 (from KY)
card received 3/4....yeahhhhhhhhh

AVM still the same ?

the change in AVM message is the indication that they are ordering your card. I find it strange that we got stamped in the same center. alomost at the same time and have different processing times !! INS never cease to amaze me !! Hang in there.
It is great !!! AM actually traveling to Asia ina few weeks....interested to see how the \'overrated\' greencard works !!LOL
