I just received the INS notice (courtecy copy). Details:

Receipt #: EAC-99-230-XXXXX
EB1, China
Receipt Date: 7/30/99
Notice Date: 8/15/00 (the approval date?)

Original sent to Attorney. My wife\'s 485 is still pending. Never talked to IIO.

On the notice, it says:

Please take this notice, your arrival/departure record, Form I-94, your passport, and two ADIT style color photos, to the INS local office.

Question:

Is my courtesy copy good enough? Or do I need the official copy from my lawyer?

Time to celebrate. Never expected it so fast. Good luck to everybody still waiting.

It depends on the INS office. Some are asking for the Original approval notice while some are stamping with the courtesy copy. which INS office are you going to?

I checked the voice message two weeks ago. It didn\'t change. I checked it today again. It changed to approval.

The notice specified that I need to go to Newark, NJ, which is close to where i live.
