My Details --
EB2, INDIA, PD: Sep 97, 485 - RD: May 20 99, ND: June 15 99\'
FP: June 20 99\'.
Called IIO July 10th. to Change Address.
Called IIO again on Aug. 22\' to confirm FP Approval and Address Change.
IIO response -- Everything is OK with FP, New Address. Check back again in 2 Months. Not much info there ..??
All May/June 99 ND Waiters -- Should we just wait? I know people around , later have been getting approval.
One more thing -- When wveryone was getting FP notice in April/May - for May/Jun ND -- I got the FP Notice for June. 20. I live in NJ.
Does this mean mine and few other\'s file is just moving slower than others ??

Priority Date January 1996
I-485 Receipt Date 4th April 1999
I-485 Notice Date 18th May 1999
Finger Printing Done at Newark INS Office on 13th June 2000
Called IIO two time in last two month and I get the same answer from IIO as you got it and he says my file is OK. I am still waiting
for my I-485 Approval. Now I spend for my Green Card more than 56 Months ie., 1,685 Days.

Mine is EB2, RD June 23. The IIOs say everthing is Ok But I don\'t know why the approval ahs not come through. Noe even a RFE.

Mine are EB2/NIW, PD 10/97, RD/ND 6/99, FP 4/00.

Recently, Single Guy with same category, and dates a month later has gotten approved! Many others are approved too.

Called the IIO\'s twice in the past 4 weeks. First time said, call in 2 weeks if you hear nothing. Then 3 weeks later said same thing!

Last one said "no - nobody has looked at it yet". So I asked, well how do you know 2 weeks, she (Nancy?) said, "well, we need something from you". I said "What? Like an RFE?" (thinking - "if no one has seen it, how do you know you need something, eh?"). And she says "I am not allowed to tell you."

Are IIO\'s now creating information just to put us off now? What crap is this? Very frustrating.

Changed address in june, No rfe .. when called last week - iio says everything fine -- wait.

Checked message yesterday (08/29)-- it says (for self, wife, daughter) -
Case transferred to Newark office for scheduling interview .. may take several months ... etc.

Any idea what is this ? Does this mean a long wait in newark for the interview ??
Thanks for any info .. any one in similar situation ? - pls. reply -- we can talk .. should I call senator/congressman/..
