VSC 140, If you filed between Sep 26-30'2005 and still waiting

All those who filed 140 at VSC between Sep 26-30'2005 and still waiting, please share your agony, views and predictions here.

My case was concurrent filing, I got my AP, EAD and FP done and Yes I am from Retrogressed country, I am so frustrated to see so many 140 getting approval within 15 days and I havent seen any LUD change on my case yet.

Any input guyz :confused:, let me know How many of you are in same boat.

Mine is filed in Aug 2005 and yet not update.

Hi Rahuldc,

Mine filed on Sept.23, 2005 (concurrent)

No news after that. Still waiting for some ray of light from USCIS. let us hope for the best in this month.

I filed on Sep 30th, concurrent (140+485), got RFE for 140 on Dec 5th, replied back on the same week. Last update on Jan 5th. Still waiting for approval. EAD, AP and FP done.

I just want to see if there is any trend here or any predication (thats how I spend 4 year of MD labor waiting :eek: )

Per my lawyer, last week he got two 140 VSC approvals, one is July 15 other one is Sep 21, you cant call VSC as officially they are still working on May 21 2005 EB2 cases, which changed to July 2 yesterday only.
 
Have you been to casino, it is exactly the same way USCIS works.
If you are lucky you may get it in few weeks if you are not you may not get it in few years.
No Trend It's a Dead End.

VSC processing date appears arbitrary

I think the VSC date is somewhat arbitrary.

I think/ guess VSC picks up an application and then probably finds all applications of that company and approves all at one shot. This could be a reason, they have approved I-140 quickly for some folks. This favors companies with many applications.

Or it could they have some random number generated by some legacy computer and we are at the mercy of that.

Mine is EB1 I140 RD Sept 30,2005 ND Sep 13, 2005, LUD Sep ??,2005
AP/EAD approved in two months.
No news on I140....

VSC Trend

Hi,

I completely agree with gcstrat, in terms of the trend VSC is following. It also make sense seeing at the approval/delay trends. VSC is trying the patience here.

I compiled following dates from 140 archived starting from May 2005.

Archived of - processing as of
January - 07/02/2005
December - 05/21/2005
November - 05/21/2005
October - 03/19/2005
September- 03/19/2005
August - 02/19/2005
July - 02/19/2005
June - 02/12/2005
May - 02/12/2005

My 140 got approved. I got this email this morning.

This case has been approved. On February 7, 2006 ...

Now, its a long wait for 485 I guess.

Good luck man, news like this always give hopes, I always noticed if someone have RFE, they'll get approval soon as soon Service center get reply.

gc4eb2, did u got any RFE, if yes, what was it about

RFE was for additional evidence.. My attorney forgot send the experience letters, which she sent later.

Finally I got the sweet mail for which I was waiting for so long, guyz I got the 140 approval on 02/22/06, details in my signature.

Good luck to you all.

Though as I am retro country, still have long way to go.

1-140&485/VSC applied on 29-Sep-2005. EAD,AP approved

I-140, got RFE (Education Evaluation and TAX return statment from company and payslip from my side)

RFE reached on 20-Feb-2006, (more than 10 day) Every day the LUD got changed 20,21,22,23... 03/01. It stopped on 03/01.

So far, it is not approved.

Any idea about this one ?

I am in the same boat as you. We received RFE (A2P and education) on Jan 26 and we replied 2/3/2006. USCIS received it 2/9/2006 with notice date of 2/10/2006. I saw one LUD on 2/25 with the same message. 'We received your response and it is taking 90 to 485 days etc etc.' So don't know if the LUD is good or bad but I know when you have LUD that someone worked with your case. But have faith. Good luck..

Hi,
I filed my I-140 on Sept 28th 2005 in VSC. (Concurrent filing under EB2)
I got an RFE for my I-140 in Jan 06. Reponded in a week
My I-140 was approved in Feb 2nd week.
