My husband is in immigration custody since 02/27/2024. We both was charged with domestic violence but he pleaded guilty and he was not the aggressor so I have an appeal going for that charge. In 2018 he was granted for voluntary departure but overstayed and got caught while we both was in jail 02/17/2024. He was on hold for ICE. He also mention that they have told him, he was caught on May 28,2021, which we both were confused as to why they have that when he has been in Mississippi since he was 17 years old, and got the granted voluntary departure in 2018 then overstayed and was on hold for ICE Feb.17,2024. I have been trying to find any attorney to help keep him here because we have kids together! We had plan to get him for a green card before all this incident happen! I just wanted any advice if there is any way for him to stay because of hardship on me and our children or will he have to return to his country and wait for a waiver form and for a i-130 form?!
