Hi Guys,

As you all know, my wife is travelling to India and will be getting her current H1 visa stamped in India and returning back on that. She is trying to book her ticket. Couple of my friends mentioned that if you go via London, you need to apply for a visitors visa in the US but not if you travel via Amsterdam (NWA) or in singapore airlines. Does anybody know about this? Can you please confirm?

Thanks Thanks

Its not VISITOR VISA but called as transit VISA
best thing to do is call airlines as these rules change at different times..

No Transit Visa

My wife and kids came 5 days back from India via Amsterdam by NWA. They were not having any transit visa. I did all the research before sending them to india. If your wife is flying through Amsterdam then there is absolutely no need of Transit visa.

Don't worry to much... believe me.

Thanks,
Hudak
