My mother visited the USA 2 years ago and over stayed he time,
she stayed 1 year over her normal time altough I filed an extension and it got approved but she had to stay another 6 mths for medical reasons that came up and did not file for that extension , her Visas is good until 2008 will she have an problem coming back in US at POE ? If they ask questions what should her reply be ?

Please anyone have any answers !

If your mother overstayed for more than 180 days she will not be admitted into US for 3 years. Even if she did not overstay 180 days, she can be refused admission for violating her I-94 limit.

Over stayed Visa

So you are saying that she will be accepted in the USA after the 3 yds is up without any problem ?
Because her 3 years is about to be up in March 2004 ,
If they ask she will show them Paper work for the medical reasons why she over stayed correct ?

If you read the post carefully you will realize that I never said that she will be admitted without any problem. It is upto the immigration inspector to decide. Also to be noted is that a visa is automatically invalid once a person overstays I-94. Here is an extract from Dept of state's website on this issue:

There are circumstances which can serve to void or cancel the period of time your visa is valid. If you overstay the end date of your authorized stay, as provided by the Department of Homeland Security's U.S. immigration officer at port of entry, or Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS), then this action on your part generally will automatically void or cancel your visa.
