Visitor while N-400 is pending

When N-400 is pending, is it difficult to get visitor visa for parents.
will it get rejected because there is a chance that the visitor cannot come back after the I get the citizenship as I can sponser GCfor the visitor?

These two are NOT connected. While your N400 is pending, you can apply and get visitor visa for your parents. I have known of several cases of this happening.
