The D-0156 form was filled by my travel agent. So, I dont have an idea about it. But seeing the question I think we have to enter our status.

According to me your status is AOS EB (Adjustment of Status - Employmeny based), and your wife is AOS derivative. But I am not aware of the proper way of putting it. So please wait for somebody else to respond too.

Regarding the duration of stay there is a conflict. I would always suggest you write your intentions because this may not be the last time they apply for a US visa. Just my suggestion.

My mom & dad got their visitor visa - 10 yr multiple entry. They used the TTS Chennai drop box. Applied on 1st April, got the information today after all these holidays. I am so happy. Good luck for all who are going to apply.

1.What documents you sent from here.

2.What documents they prepared in India and submitted.

3. What questions asked if any at the consulate ?

Employment letter
Letter to the Consulate
Formal invitation letters to my parents
Copies of 3 recent paystubs
Copies of 2 years tax returns with W2
Passport copy - all pages incl old passports - for me and spouse
our I-94 copies
EAD and AP copies
Marriage certificate copy
My Birth cetificate copy

The papers they prepared were
Pension papers
Property statement in stamp paper notarized
Income tax returns
Marriage affidavit with their photos - notarized
If they are inservice govt servants NOC - not needed for mine, they both are retired
Affidavit saying they will return in time
and ofcourse passport, covering letter, visa appln, photos and DD

They used dropbox service. So no questions asked.

One more doubt ( god how many questions !!!! sorry ).

Are you on H1 or EAD ?

Why i am asking is do we need to send AP and EAD copies ( as you have done ) even though i am on H1 still but i have my AP and EAD approved.

If you are not using it then fine. Just send the H1 copy only. If you have an extension notice in hand, you have to send that too.

We both are using EAD. That's why we had to send it.

Hope this helps. Dont hesitate to get back if you have doubts.

In the form for affidavit , i had a doubt.

For question 8 , is it my parents name OR my wife and kids name who are with me here. Bit confusing to me atleast...

8. That the following persons are dependent upon me for support: ( Place an "x" in the appropriate colum to indicate whether the following person is fully dependent or partially dependent upon you for suport )
