Visitor Visa to US from Canada

Hi all,

I work for an Indian company which has deputed me to a Canadian client. I am right now inside Canda with a workpermit which is valid until september 2007. My doubt is whether I can get a visitor visa to US while I am in Canada.

If yes,
1) How much canadians will it cost?
2) How much time will it take?
3) A brief procedure?

With a work permit, you will be considered a Canadian "resident". The US consulate will entertain your visa application. You basically setup a non-immigrant visa appointment. You will need to fill in a DS-156 and perhaps a DS-157. It may be adjudicated the same day or it may take longer than that if a name check is needed. Good luck!!!
