visitor visa to F2 visa

Hi,
I am presently on F1 visa. I want to marry an Indian girl. She is presently in India. I want to marry her with out going to India and change her status to F2 in USA. Can I invite her to US on visitor visa and register the marriage at Indian consulate in USA and change her visa status from B visa to F2 visa?
Please help me on this..

You don't need to register your marriage at any Indian consulate. If she is in the country, then both of you can get married as per your state's regulations. Once you have your marriage certificate, she can COS from B-2 to F-2.
