Visitor Visa refusal

If the Visitor Visa has been rejected in the past (a few months ago) will the applicant face any problems and hastles when applying for a H4 (Dependent) visa.
Please Advise.

My guess would be that it's ok since the H-visa is dual intent.

It means that you can harbor either immigration or non-immigration intent when applying for dual-intent visa. Visitors visa is a non-immigration intent visa.

By the way, I was assuming that your visitors visa was denied because the officer suspected that you had intentions to immigrate to the US. If your application was denied because of something else in your background, then I suggest that you talk to a good immigration attorney before submitting your H-4 visa application.
