Visitor visa preparation for widowed mother

Hello,

I'm preparing the documents for a visitor visa appointment for my widowed mother.

**I'm on F1 visa currently and I'm graduating soon
**My brother is employed as a teacher in school back in India
**My mother is also employed and has properties and bank accounts in her name

My questions are:
1.I'm planning to show my Graduation ceremony as the reason for her visit the US. Is this okay? Are there any better ideas?
2.What can be shown as strong ties for my mother to go back to India?
3.If we show graduation ceremony as the reason, will she be given only a visa with shorter validity?
4.I understand it is a little difficult to get visa for single parents. But I believe , with proper planning and with the right documents, getting visa should be possible.

After all, my mother's true intent is to come see my graduation.

Any suggestions, directions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Literate.

A1: Fair enough reason to visit the US
A2: Financial, personal and social ties to India
A3: There is always a possibility
A4: As long as 214(b) is overcome, visa will be issued
