Visitor visa for Spouse of a GC holder

Hello,

Wondering if anyone has been through similar situation to share the experience or just have any advice!

My Status in USA:
GC holder since 2005; maried after GC to Indian passport holder; was employed with an American company in USA, transferred to Dubai in late 2008 for 2 years; have been maintaining my GC by visiting US once every 4 months for 30 days; basically, maintaining continuous residency!

My Status in UAE (Dubai):
Currently working for the Middle East office of the same US company in Dubai

My Wife's Status:
Houswife and living with me in Dubai on UAE resident visa; never visited USA; applied for USA tourist visa before our marriage from Chennai mid 2008, but denied

Current Issue:
Traveling to USA on business in August for a month and want to bring my wife along - she needs a tourist visa. We have scheduled visa appointment with the American Consulate in Dubai end of this month.

Key Question is what's my wife's best option?
I'll be sponsoring my wife's travel and am thinking of getting a letter from my US office stating the reason for my travel, duration of stay in US, guarantee that I'll return to Dubai office after one month and No objection for my wife's travel along with me on this business trip.
Would this help her get B2 visa?

Any other thoughts on improving the likelihood of getting the visa?

Thanks!

Please note that I have a valid GC and do not need any reentry permit for my travel. My wife would need visitor visa to travel along with me.

Remember she is married to a GC holder (that's me) who's working in Dubai temporarily.

Since I would be sponsoring her travel, I'm planning to get a letter from my employer just to make her case a bit solid in that she would indeed return to Dubai along with me.

Any thoughts?

You are totally missing the point I made in my last reply. Read it again. You are misleading yourself by thinking you are keeping your US residency status intact by visiting 4 times a year!!!

Please note that I have a valid GC and do not need any reentry permit for my travel.

I see your point - getting a reentry permit would be safe.

However, I was advised by my attorney that Reentry permit is must only if a GC holder wants to remain outside USA between 1 to 2 years. Since I'll be traveling to USA frequently and in worst case remain outside USA for a maximum period of 5 months continuously, I really don't need a reentry permit.

I'm still looking for suggestions on my wife's travel visa case - any thoughts? Thanks!
