Visitor Visa for Parents - twice rejected

Hi - My parents visa application has been rejected twice in the past. "No family ties" was the reason they said was rejected for. We waited for a year and applying again ONLY for mom first.

Questions:
-----------
(1) Last time in DC 156 we specified she is a housewife. She started working, helping dad in his business. Can we show,

She is now working, since dad files tax return for mom, OR
Its better to show, she is still a housewife.

(2) In DS 156, we specified last time, that son is on work permit. there is a question, if you have any relative in usa who is a PR or a US Citizen?
Should we show the son who has a PR? or Show another Son, who is on H1B Visa?

Reason i ask this question is: Since last time the Son who just received his PR, showed that he has a work permit and my parents were told during interview that you can go when your son becomes a Citizen.

(3) job dependency / TIE ?

if we show she is working, will they think that she will find a job in usa? is working good to show in general ?

Appreciate your help with this!

Always mention the truth.

Your problem is "family ties". Is it that all the children are livinng in USA? If not, mention about other children living in your country.

Your parents are running business. If thats a big bussiness its further better. Show that business is a TIE to the home country. Sumbit evidance like, from when thay are running, returns from the business, taxes ..all to prove that its a legitimate and strong tie to the home country.

Does your parents have home? Show that as another strong TIE.

Show Financial ties...show bank balances, Deposits which matures at much later date, retiremnet certificates, what not ....which will make them to return back to the home country.

Back to your questions..

1. If she is working show that she is working, if not no.
2. You need to mention about all the relatives, as asked in DS 156. You might be in trouble if stated incorrectly. Rememebr, when the son applying for his PR, he mentions about the parents and the information can be cross-checked any time.
3. If a govt. employee wants to visit US, its very convincing to show that as a strong tie to his home country. In you case, it just doesn't matter whether working or non-working. I don't think USCIS stops issue visas by considering working/education status. You can argue that a degree holder may work in USA and hence he can be denied visiting US.

Always state facts.

I have seen people with good jobs in their home country failing to overcome 214(b) and then I have seen retirees/unemployed applicants overcome 214(b). Your mother needs to put down whatever are her true circumstances and then hope for the best.

if we show she is working, will they think that she will find a job in usa? is working good to show in general ?
