Visitor visa for brother

Hi All,

My brother is in his last year of engineering and planning to get his visitor visa so that he can visit here for tourism. Since he still have one semester left, I thought this is a good time to get it. Any idea what all doc he will require? We already got a letter from his college that his graduation will be ending next year. Anything else I should ask him to get?

You are so naive. You think just because the college gave your brother a letter saying his graduation is next year that the US Consulate will give him a visa? Frankly its not that simple. The US Consul needs to be convinced that your brother has sufficient ties to his home country and that he will return after his temp trip. That is the only way your brother can get the B visa ....
 
May if he has two more years of college will help him get a visa but finishing in 6 months may be tough. But one can always try.
