Visitor Visa denied

Chennai consulate denied Visitor visa for my parents saying "Not enough evidence that you will return". We even attached documents related with property etc.
I heard that, now a days they are refusing for more than 60% of people.

Now what are the alternatives I can look into for getting visitor visa or some other visa for my parents.

I have learnt from a friend that visitor\'s visa for his parents was denied since he has a green card. Parents of H-1B visa holders doesn\'t seem to have any problem. Don\'t quote me on this, just hearsay!
