I am currently living in Turkey and dating a woman here. We wanted to go to the U.S. for two weeks in the summer. She has a job here (for two years at the same place) and a huge family, and enough in her bank account. We have return tickets. Nevertheless, they rejected her application. The only explanation was "situation not appropriate." This trip is rather important to your future--we are not going to get married or anything like that, but we were going to see how she liked the U.S. Why do you think she was rejected? She did tell them she was going with her boyfriend. Should we bother trying to reapply? She said they asked three or four questions and then said "no." She thinks she may have misheard one question'--"Are you travelling alone?" She thought they said, "Are you paying on your own?" Of course, we are running through the few words they said and second guessing everything. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.
