I am open to hear suggestions. Thanks in advance. This happened in Mexico.
My mother went to the US Embassy ready to show all the documents requested: Balance Statements since Jan/2001, property title of her apartment, marriage certificate (She is still married to my father and living with him, and they have been married for more than 30 years), her monthly pension check (she is retired), invitation letter, my balance statements,my pay stubs, copy of my GC and passport, my birth certificate to show she is my mother, she also has 2 unmarried sons they are staying in-country. She was only asked for her passport, visa application and receipt of the visa processing fee. After the officer reviewed her visa application she was told that she can not be issued a visitor\'s visa and that is it, the officer did not ask for any of the documents and when my mother tried to show them to him he did not care. It was the first time my mother was applying for a visitor\'s visa. I do not know what we did wrong, I personally filled out the application for her and we reviewed together twice everything was OK. I assume the officer read the part where you are asked if there is any relative living in US we told the true saying my son and he is a PR (GC) but even though I am PR I can not be the sponsor for a Imm. Visa for her. What can we do???. Any comments will be appreciated
