Visiting USA while DV selection is pending.

My sister holds a valid multi-entry visitor's visa to the USA since last year. She has already visited with us in the USA twice. This year her DV application was selected for further processing (while back in her country of citizenship).
My question is this: Would visiting us again, while her DV application is being processed, affect her in any way?
Is her visitor's visa even valid now that she has been selected for the DV?

I've not been able to find concrete information regarding this particular situation and would greatly appreciate any input on this matter.

I've done it, also using an existing visitor visa (which yes remains valid). I was expecting to get grilled on entry but the CBP guy just asked the usual visitor questions. To be on the safe side, I'd recommend she take with some forms of proof that she will be returning home after the visit (such as letter from employer) just in case.

Yep, her NIV is still very much valid and can still be used to visit the U.S. pending her DV selection interview back at home. Admission at the POE is always at the discretion of the CBP/IOs. If asked about her DV selection, she has to be honest and show proof she intends on retuning back home to complete the process from there.

As long as she can demonstrate a strong tie back to her home country, if required to do so, she will be fine.
