Visiting India on H1

I will be going to India this weekend. I already have a valid H1 stamp from my trip last year... so this question is not about H1 stamping.

I read in newspapers a few months ago that Indians visiting India might need IT clearance certificate... Is this true? I'll be in India for 20 days only.

Has anyone visited India in the past 2-3 months. Was there any such requirement from officials?

Please let me know soon.

Will be grateful for any info.

The requirement of IT clearance for Indians traveling abroad had been dropped recently. You should have no problems whatsoever.

Its good to know this, because I never worked in India. (I am F1->H1)

It was in the Indian news media recently.
