Visiting Canada on Regular Basis

Hi -

I am a GC holder and was wondering if visiting Canada on weekends (including 3/4-day weekends) would cause a problem with filing for my citizenship? This is in regards to maintaining residence in the USA. My travels to Canada are simply to visit family members on a regular basis - work and domicile is still in USA.

Am I okay as long as I am not out more than 6 months? (most of my trips will be less than 10-12 days). I have already fulfilled the 30 months continunous residence.

Your answer is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the quick response JoeF. I was nervous about the fact that I would have like 20+ trips outside the USA (to Canada) - especially since I cross using my GC and there is no stamping on passport.

Do you know if CIS keeps track of border crossings via private vehicles? All I notice is that the IO just looks at the GC and types something in the computer then waves me through.
