My H1B is expiring in Dec07. I plan to apply for renewal of my visa for another 3 years within the next few days. I have to go to India now and I don’t intend to come back until Feb 2008.
1. I want to know if it creates any problem if I leave the US before I receive my new I-94.
My employer can send the approval notice to me in India when he gets it. Is there something wrong in this arrangement.
2. Also, when is the earliest that can I get my visa re-stamped in India with the extended expiry date.
